Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Music Teacher | Piano & Western Vocal at Circle of Fifths Music Academy, located in Bengaluru.

The Music

Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in piano and Western vocal music for learners at beginner to advanced levels.

Responsibilities include teaching core music theory, technique, repertoire, and performance skills, as well as preparing students for recitals, exams, and live performance opportunities. The role involves assessing student progress, providing individualized feedback,



and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles.

The Music

Teacher will collaborate with the academy team to design curriculum, participate in events, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. Candidates should be Bengaluru-based or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Music Theory and general Music knowledge.
- Candidates should possess advanced skills in Piano performance and interpretation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Music Performance, including stage presence and live recital preparation.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Music Education, including lesson planning, student assessment, and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in Western vocal techniques and repertoire, with experience teaching diverse age groups.
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly, motivate learners, and maintain a patient, learner-centered approach.
- Prior teaching experience in a music academy, school, or private instruction setting is highly beneficial.
- Relevant formal training or certification in music (e.g., Trinity/ABRSM, music degree or diploma) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and participate in performances, workshops, and academy events.
