Role Description The Junior Engineer Production will support day-to-day manufacturing operations at Merino’s on-site facility in Udaipur in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include assisting in production planning, monitoring shop-floor activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to production schedules and safety guidelines.



The role involves collecting and analyzing production data, supporting process improvements, and contributing to quality checks to maintain product standards.

The Junior Engineer

Production will also help implement standard operating procedures, participate in troubleshooting equipment or process issues, and prepare basic reports for supervisors and management. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a focus on efficiency and quality are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Production Engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Analytical skills to interpret production data, identify issues, and support continuous improvement.
- Production Planning capabilities to assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Quality Control skills to help maintain product standards and support inspection and testing activities.
- Effective Communication skills for coordination with supervisors, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a factory environment with adherence to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or production management software is beneficial.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a structured, process-driven setting.
