The product focuses on meaningful interactions through personalized pet profiles, location-based meetups, adoption and rescue visibility, and pet-focused events. Furhour also enables expert-led webinars and tailored matchmaking for playdates or long-term companionship, helping pet parents find the right social circle for their animals.

The RoleAs our Founding Veterinarian, you will be the bridge between Furhour’s technology platform and the veterinary community. Because Furhour is a marketplace aggregator, your focus is not managing clinical treatments, but rather expanding our supply network: onboarding verified independent doctors, standardizing our service catalog, ensuring platform credential compliance, and acting as the anchor practitioner fulfilling early platform demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Doctor Network Onboarding (Supply-Side Growth): Lead vet-to-vet outreach to onboard licensed independent veterinary practitioners and clinics onto the Furhour partner network across Bengaluru.
- Credential Verification & • Compliance:
Review and verify that all onboarding practitioners hold active, valid registrations with the Karnataka State Veterinary Council (KSVC).
- Service Catalog Structuring:
Work with the product and operations team to define clear, standardized service listings on the app (e.g., scope of routine checkups, vaccination visit packages, visit durations, and fair pricing benchmarks).
- Anchor Service Fulfillment: Personally accept and fulfill early doorstep consultations routed through the platform in East Bengaluru, providing immediate service availability and testing app booking flows firsthand.
- Platform Trust & • Advisory:
Serve as the clinical voice for Furhour—advising on veterinary consumer trends, partner doctor feedback, and representing the platform at apartment pet wellness drives and community activations.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification: B.V.Sc & • A.H. with an active KSVC registration.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of small-animal experience in Bengaluru. Independent locums, postgraduates, or clinic associates looking to transition into the pet-tech startup ecosystem are ideal.
- Network & • Communication:
Strong peer relationships within the Bengaluru veterinary community; able to talk doctor-to-doctor to pitch the perks of listing on Furhour.
- Mobility: Independent transport (two-wheeler or car) in Bengaluru.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable building a two-sided marketplace from the ground up.
