WE’RE HIRING. BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE.
Join Our Marketing Campaign & Activation Team at Not The Same Private Limited!
Roles: Campaign / Activation Coordination & Operations
Open for: Interns (3-6 months) and Trainees (1 year)
We’re looking for serious team members who like turning messy plans into smooth, well-run campaigns. If you’re the person friends call when things need sorting out, read on.
One of the key verticals we work in is on-ground marketing activations, where planning, coordination, logistics, and quick thinking come together to bring a campaign to life. It's where things move fast, plans change, and common sense is just as important as creativity.
Across workplaces, we often see a gap between what young candidates know on paper and what they can actually bring to the table.
Degrees, certificates, online courses and AI tools have their place. But can you take ownership? Think on your feet? Solve a problem without waiting for someone to hand you the answer? Meet a deadline without being chased? Turn what you know into something helpful?
These are questions worth asking.
Because knowing about something and knowing how to get it done are two very different things.
Textbooks can teach you marketing concepts. They can't fully prepare you for a vendor who doesn't show up, a last-minute change in the activation plan, a tight deadline, or a problem that needs a practical solution right now.
That's where real-world experience comes in.
We don’t expect you to know everything. We’re here to give you the industry training you need to turn that potential into practical skills. We do expect you to take responsibility, be willing to learn, and bring your best to the table.
Sounds like you? Read on.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for people who:
- Take responsibility. Age is just a number; accountability is what matters.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment without losing their cool.
- Get things done instead of just talking about getting things done.
- Don’t give up when things get complicated, especially when there’s a solution to be found.
- Are street-smart and know how to find their way around a problem.
- Have an interest in coordination, logistics, and preparing basic estimates.
- Understand that marketing is much bigger than the 4Ps and social media.
- Understand what activations are—or have at least made an effort to find out.
- Are observant and notice the little things before they become big problems.
- Have a basic understanding of marketing campaigns and how they work.
- Believe in staying prepared rather than figuring everything out at the last minute.
- Manage their time well and respect deadlines.
- Bring order to chaos instead of adding to it.
- Can think independently and make sensible decisions.
- Have a world of their own beyond AI and know when to use their own brains.
- Take deadlines seriously, in life and at work.
- Do what they commit to. A promise should mean something.
- Understand the power of a pen, a diary, and a good old-fashioned checklist—even in a digital world.
- Are comfortable working with Google Sheets, PPT and WhatsApp.
- Don't need to be reminded about the same task repeatedly.
- Know how to work with calendars, plan schedules, and create route maps.
- Are willing to put in genuine effort and give their best.
- Can take constructive criticism, learn from it, and move forward.
- Are proactive, driven, and a little aggressive when it comes to getting things done.
- Have an excellent application of common sense. Seriously, this one matters.
- Bring a positive attitude to work.
- Are disciplined, organised, and clear in their communication and approach.
- Are comfortable travelling and working flexible hours when the job demands it.
- Can follow a system and understand why processes matter.
- Can communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and keep the right people informed.
You don't have to tick every box on Day 1. But you must have the attitude to learn, the initiative to try, and the discipline to improve.
WHO SHOULD PROBABLY NOT APPLY? ?
No hard feelings, but this role may not be for you if:
- Most of the qualities listed above don't sound like you.
- You tend to put off work until someone catches up with you.
- You're here only for an internship certificate and have little interest in the actual work.
- You have no real interest in learning, improving, or growing.
- You challenge every process just for the sake of it, without trying to understand why it exists.
- You bring unnecessary negativity or discourage the people around you.
- You apply without even reading the job post. (Yes, we notice!)
- You expect to be spoon-fed at every step in the name of learning.
- You expect to be told exactly what to do every single time instead of making an effort to understand the task.
If you're willing to learn, take ownership, and put in the work, we'll meet you halfway.
HOW TO APPLY
Don't just send us a resume with a generic “Please find my CV attached” message.
Send us an impressive resume along with a cover letter answering these three questions:
1. Why do you think you're the right fit?
Tell us how your attitude, skills, experiences, and working style match what we're looking for. Bonus points if you can connect your answers to the qualities mentioned above with real examples.
2. Why should we trust you with responsibility?
Tell us why we can count on you to take this opportunity seriously, honour your commitments, meet deadlines, and make a genuine effort to contribute.
3. Tell us about TWO marketing campaigns that blew your mind.
They could be on-ground activations, brand experiences, experiential campaigns, or any other marketing campaigns you found interesting or constructive.
Tell us what caught your attention, what you liked about them, and what you think made them work.
Once we receive these details, shortlisted candidates will be briefed on the role, responsibilities, and working expectations in greater detail.

P.S: You just let AI write your cover letter for you (we’ll know this one too!)
EXTRA BROWNIE POINTS
Have you ever:
- Organised or coordinated school or college events?
- Helped manage a family function or social event?
- Been an active member of a club, committee, or organising team?
- Received professional training or developed hobbies and skills that could be useful in marketing, coordination, logistics, or operations?
Tell us about it! Experience doesn't always come with a job title. Sometimes, it's the college fest you helped pull off or the family event you somehow kept from falling apart.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Fixed stipend
- Performance-based incentives
- Internship certificate for interns
- Exposure to campaigns for market leaders and multinational brands
- Hands-on industry experience
- Real responsibilities, practical learning, and an opportunity to grow through actual work
DURATION
- Internship: 3–6 months
- Traineeship: 1 year
ONE LAST THING.
This isn't a role where you'll only observe, take notes, and wait for someone to tell you what to do.
You'll learn by doing, coordinating, planning, solving problems, and taking responsibility.
Some days will be smooth. Some won't. That's part of the job.
If you're someone who takes initiative, keeps their word, thinks on their feet, and wants to understand how marketing works beyond a screen, we'd like to hear from you.
Come prepared. Bring your common sense. Leave the excuses at the door.
