Role Description The CAD Jewellery Designer will create detailed 2D and 3D digital models of diamond jewelry designs, translating concepts and sketches into production-ready files. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting design briefs, preparing technical and construction drawings, refining designs based on feedback from the design and manufacturing teams, and ensuring that all models meet structural, aesthetic, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with artisans, engineers, and quality teams to confirm feasibility, stone settings, and metal specifications.





This is a full-time, on-site role located in Surat, involving consistent collaboration, timely delivery of design files, and support during prototype and final production stages.

Qualifications

- Strong drawing and technical drawing skills to visualize and communicate jewelry concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software used for jewelry design and modeling.
- Ability to create accurate construction drawings and apply design engineering principles for functional and durable pieces.
- Attention to detail, understanding of gemstones, settings, and metal properties relevant to diamond jewelry.
- Relevant diploma or degree in jewelry design, industrial design, mechanical design, or a related field.
- Experience in jewelry manufacturing workflows and collaboration with production teams is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in office in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating CAD jewelry designs and technical documentation is highly beneficial.
