Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assembly In Charge role based in Chennai. The role involves overseeing mechanical assembly operations for centrifugal pumps and related equipment, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, assembly procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising assembly technicians, planning daily assembly activities, allocating tasks, and monitoring work progress to meet production schedules.

The Assembly In

Charge will coordinate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve technical issues, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions. The role also includes maintaining assembly tools and equipment, training team members on best practices, and supporting continuous improvement in assembly processes.

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical assembly skills, including experience with Mechanical Assembly and interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.




- Proficiency in working with Hand Tools and Power Tools used in industrial assembly environments.
- Experience in Soldering and related joining techniques, with attention to safety and reliability.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including inspection, documentation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in pump manufacturing, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial assembly is an advantage.
- Ability to lead and coordinate assembly teams, manage workloads, and meet production deadlines.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
