Job Summary:
Responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization of Electrical & Electronics commodities to support current product development and ongoing production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure E&E; components including Wiring Harness, EMS commodities like Switches, Sensors, Controllers, BMS, Motors, etc.
- Evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capability.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, VA/VE activities, and long-term sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Planning teams for technical alignment and timely deliveries.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs for sourcing decisions.
- Negotiate terms,
contracts, and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-chain issues proactively.
- Should be responsible for Global Sources like for Active and Passive components, should dealt with China and Asia suppliers
- Knowledge on Import Inco terms
Skills Required:
- Strong technical understanding of E&E; components.
- Good negotiation and analytical skills.
- Supplier development and sourcing strategy experience.
- Knowledge of cost breakdowns and commodity trends.
