Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time role based in Mumbai, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home for planning, reporting, and documentation tasks. On-site responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial facilities, performing routine inspections, and responding to service calls. The technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, carry out preventive maintenance, and coordinate with other trade professionals to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

The role also involves maintaining service records, following company and regulatory safety guidelines, communicating clearly with clients,



and supporting project teams with technical input on HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including experience with HVAC system troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
- Practical knowledge of plumbing systems related to heating and cooling equipment, such as condensate drainage and piping connections.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance for HVAC equipment, including filters, coils, motors, thermostats, and associated components.
- Understanding of electrical principles and protected work practices for HVAC systems, including wiring, controls, and circuit protection.
- Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and safety standards relevant to refrigerants, emissions, and safe handling procedures.
- Certificate or diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or a related technical field; trade apprenticeship or industry training is an advantage.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar building services role, preferably in urban or commercial settings.
- Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and service documentation, with attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Comfort working in a hybrid model, including travel to sites within Mumbai and collaboration with teams on-site and remotely.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, time management, and respectful, clear communication with clients and colleagues.
