Requirements:
- Financial Reporting, Month-End & Control • Own and actively prepare month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, monthly estimates, management reporting and review-ready working papers.
• Review financial outputs and supporting analysis for accuracy, completeness and compliance, resolving issues and escalating material risks where required.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, explain variances to budget, forecast and prior periods, and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Maintain the integrity of financial information through effective controls, reconciliations, policy compliance and timely resolution of accounting issues. Leadership, Coaching & Continuous Improvement
• Lead defined finance processes and coordinate delivery across relevant reporting and planning cycles, while remaining personally accountable for key outputs.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, knowledge sharing and review support to Financial Analysts and other finance colleagues.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting, systems, data quality, controls and process efficiency through standardisation and automation. Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

Operations and Commercial stakeholders to support operational and commercial decision-making and improve business performance.
• Prepare financial and operational analysis, business cases, profitability reviews and investment evaluations within the assigned scope.
• Translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights, options and practical recommendations. Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
• Actively prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly estimates and longer-term plans for the assigned portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial models, assumptions and scenarios to support planning, performance management and decision-making.
• Monitor performance against plans and work with stakeholders to understand drivers, challenge assumptions and identify corrective actions.
• Provide clear reporting and commentary on performance, outlook, risks and opportunities. Key Requirements : Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. CA/CPA/MBA qualification, or progress towards completion. 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, management accounting, commercial finance or a related role. Demonstrated hands-on experience in month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, monthly estimates, financial modelling and performance analysis Advanced Excel and financial systems capability. Experience in manufacturing or operationally complex environments.
