Role Overview Platform On-site ACI BASE24-eps We are looking for a BASE24-eps Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in electronic payment systems and transaction processing. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of the ACI BASE24-eps platform, C/C++ programming, payment switching, and integration with banking and payment systems. The candidate will develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot payment-processing applications in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain applications on the ACI BASE24-eps platform.
• Work on Customer Specific Modifications (CSM), interfaces, transaction routing, and authorization processing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot payment transaction failures, authorization issues, and switching errors.
• Work with ISO 8583 message formats and payment transaction flows.
• Support ATM, POS, card-present, and card-not-present transaction processing, where applicable.
• Develop and maintain application components using C/C++; perform code debugging and defect resolution.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing; support SIT/UAT as required.
• Support implementation, release activities, production issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with technical, QA, infrastructure, and business teams; maintain technical documentation. Mandatory Technical Skills
• ACI BASE24-eps: Hands-on development, enhancement, or customization experience.
• C/C++: Programming fundamentals, code debugging, and application maintenance.




• ISO 8583: Understanding of payment message formats, message fields, and transaction processing.
• Payment switching: Authorization, transaction routing, reversals, and payment workflows.
• Linux/Unix: Commands, shell scripting basics, log analysis, and application troubleshooting.
• Interface development: Experience with payment interfaces, host integrations, or customer-specific modifications.
• Testing and debugging: Ability to investigate transaction logs, identify root causes, and validate fixes. Additional Essential Skills
• Understanding of ATM/POS transaction flows.
• Basic knowledge of card issuing and acquiring systems.
• Familiarity with clearing, settlement, and reconciliation concepts.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release support.

• Understanding of payment response codes and transaction life cycles. Positive-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to BASE24-eps modules such as AFT, OLF, ONL, or TLF, depending on the project.
• Experience with Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, or other payment-network integrations.
• Familiarity with transaction simulators such as FINSIM or Asset.
• Knowledge of EMV, PIN processing, and key-management concepts.
• Exposure to Git, CI/CD, automated build/deployment, or payment-system migration projects.
• Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem environments, if relevant to the client’s setup.
