About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support business operations through data analysis, reporting, and visualisation. The successful candidate will work with structured datasets, identify meaningful patterns, prepare analytical reports, and transform raw information into insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in working with data, a logical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate analytical findings effectively. This role involves working with different business teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, reliable reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organise, and analyse data from multiple business sources.
- Clean and validate datasets by identifying missing values, duplicate entries, and inconsistencies.
- Use Microsoft Excel to perform calculations, data manipulation, and statistical analysis.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write SQL queries to extract, filter, and analyse information from databases.
- Identify trends, patterns, and business performance indicators within datasets.
- Prepare regular analytical reports to support management and operational decisions.
- Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and analytical needs.
- Present data findings through reports, charts, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Maintain organised records and analytical documentation.
- Support improvements in data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Handle business information responsibly and maintain data confidentiality. Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills




- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, subject to employer requirements.
- Understanding of data analysis, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and PivotTables.
- Robust numerical, analytical, and logical reasoning abilities.
- Ability to identify patterns and interpret data accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different teams. Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualisation tools.
- Basic understanding of Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Knowledge of statistics and data modelling fundamentals.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Understanding of business intelligence and reporting processes.
