E. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Configuration Manager to lead the Configuration Management practice and CMDB governance program for a global enterprise. The role will drive CMDB accuracy, completeness, ownership compliance, certification and attestation processes, operational governance, and Configuration Management maturity. It requires strong ServiceNow expertise, leadership capabilities and the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders, including US leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Configuration Management practice and establish effective CMDB governance processes.
- Define and maintain standards, policies and procedures for Configuration Item (CI) management.
- Drive CMDB accuracy, completeness and data quality through regular reviews and corrective actions.
- Establish explicit CI ownership and accountability across technology and business teams.
- Manage CMDB certification and attestation cycles, track completion and address compliance gaps.
- Oversee ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping activities to support reliable CI data and service relationships.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, service management and business teams to resolve data and ownership issues.
- Develop dashboards and reports covering CMDB health, ownership compliance, certification status and improvement initiatives.
- Present progress, risks and recommendations to executive stakeholders and governance boards.




- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and technology teams on Configuration Management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen Configuration Management maturity.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to governance, reporting, data analysis and operational efficiency.
- Use AI productivity tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms in line with organisational policies. Required Skills and Experience
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in Configuration Management, ServiceNow or IT Service Management.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM.
- Hands-on knowledge of ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Proven experience leading CMDB governance and Configuration Management initiatives.
- Experience improving CMDB accuracy, completeness and ownership compliance.
- Experience managing certification, attestation and governance compliance processes.
- Strong business communication, leadership and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
- Experience working with global stakeholders, including US leadership.
- Practical experience using Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools.
- Ability to identify and assess opportunities to apply AI to governance processes. Key Success Measures
