Hyderabad Department: 2D Animation / Pre-Production Job Summary We are looking for a creative 2D character concept artist with strong drawing skills and an interest in AI-assisted workflows. The candidate will be responsible for designing appealing characters, developing visual concepts, and using AI tools to explore ideas and improve the efficiency of the character design process while maintaining artistic quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Create original 2D character concepts, character sheets, poses, expressions, and costume designs.
- Develop character designs based on scripts, briefs, references, and project requirements.
- Use AI tools to generate visual references, explore design variations, and support the concept development process.
- Refine AI-generated concepts using Photoshop and other illustration software.
- Maintain consistency in character proportions, facial features, costumes, colors, and overall visual style.
- Collaborate with art directors, storyboard artists, animators, and other production team members.
- Incorporate feedback and revise designs to meet creative and production requirements.
- Ensure that final artwork is organized and suitable for handoff to the modeling, rigging,



or animation teams, as applicable. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong drawing, sketching, illustration, and character-design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and digital illustration software.
- Familiarity with AI image-generation and AI-assisted design tools.
- Valuable understanding of anatomy, proportions, silhouettes, poses, facial expressions, and color theory.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into compelling character designs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work within deadlines.
- A portfolio demonstrating character design and illustration skills is required. Preferred Skills
- Experience in animation, entertainment, or character-driven content.
- Understanding of 2D animation production pipelines.
