Key responsibilities
include (Not limited to):
- Coordinate with vendors and Purchase Executives on a day to day basis for timely delivery of materials at the site
- Source vendors in different regions and get quotations from them
- Get a blank BOQ from Tendering & Estimation after project award
- Start floating the inquiries with GFC drawings to vendors/suppliers to get competitive quantities, quotations, samples after project award
- Manage any escalations for speedy sample delivery, test certifications etc
- Check the rates with Tendering & Estimation and after their approval send samples to the site
- Get MRNs from site managers and start procuring items which are common items with rate contracts which are already approved by the management
- Check the vendor quotation against the BOQ specifications and proceed further with negotiations
- Send to Tendering & Estimation for their review and negotiate further if T&E; gives a different pricing
- Track delivery of all Long Lead items and ensure that it is delivered to the site in time




- Get approvals from the billing team for all Non-Tender items and negotiate pricing on them
- Manage all escalations from Projects team and Management Work Experience Essential:
- Experience in working with and managing e-procurement (through ERPs) and contracts management platforms.
- Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Work Based Competencies Essential:
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Understanding of the Interiors industries materials procurement
- Very valuable prioritization skills to balance key priorities
