About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the technical vision, architecture, and execution of a unified data platform. You will lead a team of software engineers in building scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate data from diverse systems and provide actionable operational insights. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who combines strong backend development expertise with architectural thinking, team leadership, and a passion for building reliable, scalable products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of core platform features.
- Drive backend architecture and ensure high performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide software engineers, promoting technical excellence and collaboration.
- Work closely with product management to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Design and implement microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and data integration solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, tools, infrastructure, and engineering productivity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide the team toward effective solutions.
- Contribute to the technical strategy, architecture, and product roadmap. Required Qualifications




- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on backend development experience with Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data integration patterns.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
- Understanding of software architecture, system design, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Robust problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Exposure to technology platforms, including Property Management Systems (PMS), CRM systems, or booking engines.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth product environment.
