Role Description
• Design and Detail Engineering in the area of Piping, Utilities and Water systems for recent Greenfield as well as Brownfield projects
• Conceptualization of project
• Adaptation of international & Indian Standards and industrial best practices.
• Co-ordination with Business Unit, PM, Consultant, Technology provider
• Interface Engineering and Management
• In-house Basic Engineering – Utility balances, water balance, PFDs, P&IDs;, HAZOP studies
• Develop Capability for estimation of project BOQs
• Value engineering
• Design optimization. Design & Detailed Engineering in 3D. Review engineering
• Procurement Engineering
• Preparation of Technical Specifications, tender analysis and preparation of TER
• Interdisciplinary co-ordination
• Health & Safety Management
• Development of engineering data base & literature survey, documentation
• Checking for completeness & correctness of deliverables.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS office. Experience in 3D modelling software, model review in Navisworks and clash checking is preferable.
