Key responsibilities
Install and commission CCTV cameras, recorders, monitors, and storage systems.
Configure IP cameras, network video recorders, remote viewing, and user access.
Run and terminate cables, mount equipment, and ensure installations are neat and protected.
Test systems, explain basic operation to customers, and provide handover documentation.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with customers, project teams, and suppliers to complete work on schedule.
Maintain accurate service reports, equipment records, and installation documentation.
Follow health and safety procedures and protect customer data and site security.
Requirements
Experience installing and maintaining CCTV or other security systems.
Knowledge of IP networking, structured cabling, and CCTV equipment.
Ability to use basic testing tools and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
Valuable communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, organized, and comfortable working at customer sites.
Relevant technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
A valid driving licence may be required.
