Job Title: Control System Engineer

Experience: 8 to 14 Years

Location: Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities
Provide process control, control systems, and automation engineering support for refining, petrochemical, renewable fuels, or complex process manufacturing facilities.
Support Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and PLC-based control platforms.
Work on control system changes, Management of Change (MOC), testing, validation, commissioning support, and technical documentation.
Interpret P&IDs;, control narratives, process trends, operating procedures, interlocks, alarm documentation, and cause-and-effect logic.
Support alarm management, controller performance improvement, control system reliability, and process safety initiatives.
Analyze process data, identify control issues, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
Coordinate with Operations, Process Control, Automation, Instrumentation, Engineering, and remote site teams.
Maintain accurate engineering records, communicate project updates, and ensure timely completion of deliverables and action items.




Follow operational excellence, safety standards, change control procedures, and engineering best practices.

Requisites
BE / B.Tech in Engineering.
Hands-on experience with DCS, SIS, or PLC-based control systems.
Preferred experience with Emerson DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Knowledge of MOC, change control, testing, validation, and commissioning processes.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, control narratives, interlocks, alarm documentation, and process trends.
Robust understanding of process safety, operational excellence, reliability, and alarm management.
Experience in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, renewable fuels, or other process manufacturing industries.
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and remote site stakeholders.
Solid ownership, follow-up, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
