Key Responsibilities
Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of DG Sets and diesel engines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and engine-related faults.
Carry out repairs and replacement of engine components, filters, belts, hoses, and other parts as required.
Inspect and maintain fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and starting systems.
Monitor engine performance, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and other operating parameters.
Conduct periodic inspections and ensure DG Sets and diesel engines remain in proper working condition.
Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and reports of repairs and spare parts used.
Identify technical issues and take corrective action to minimize equipment downtime.
Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair activities.




Coordinate with the Maintenance Team and Site In-Charge for servicing schedules and equipment requirements.

Requirements

Required Skills
Practical knowledge of DG Set maintenance and diesel engine repair.
Ability to identify mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently at project sites and handle maintenance activities efficiently.
Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as per company requirements.

Preferred Experience

Experience in servicing and maintaining DG Sets, diesel engines, construction equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery will be preferred.
