Job Description:
Operate and maintain HT substations, HT panels, switchgear, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution systems.
Handle the operation and maintenance of 33 kV or higher-capacity electrical systems.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
Monitor transformers, protection relays, and associated electrical systems.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of HT Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), wherever applicable.
Monitor Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) systems, diesel generators (DG), and power changeover arrangements.
Identify electrical faults, coordinate corrective maintenance, and minimize equipment downtime.
Follow electrical safety procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and shutdown protocols.
Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, breakdown records, and shift handover reports.
Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure reliable and protected electrical operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical regulations and workplace safety standards.
