Job Summary

Perform routine and type tests on power and distribution transformers as per applicable IS/IEC standards.

Responsibilities
Insulation Resistance (IR) Test
Winding Resistance Test
Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Test
No-Load / Open Circuit Test
Short Circuit / Load Loss Test
High Voltage (HV) Test
Induced Voltage Test
Vector Group Test
Magnetic Balance Test
Oil BDV Test
Prepare and verify Test Reports, Test Certificates, and inspection documents.
Ensure testing is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Identify testing failures/deviations and coordinate with the Production and Quality teams for corrective action.
Maintain proper records of test results and testing equipment.
Ensure proper calibration and availability of testing instruments.




Coordinate with customer/third-party inspectors during inspection and testing.
Support final inspection and dispatch clearance of transformers.
Follow all quality, safety, and testing procedures.

Requirements
Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
