Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise deep excavation activities, ensuring compliance with approved excavation plans and safety procedures.
Assess soil conditions, ground stability, and excavation-related risks before and during construction activities.
Ensure proper implementation of excavation support systems, including shoring, bracing, sheet piling, and retaining structures.
Monitor ground movement, settlement, soil displacement, and nearby structure stability during excavation.
Conduct risk assessments for deep excavation, trenching, underground utilities, and adjacent structures.
Ensure proper implementation of safety measures to prevent cave-ins, soil collapse, and water ingress.
Monitor groundwater levels, dewatering systems, and drainage arrangements during excavation activities.
Review excavation drawings, method statements, geotechnical investigation reports, and safety procedures.




Assess seismic risks and evaluate the impact of earthquake-related ground movement on excavation and underground structures.
Recommend preventive measures for earthquake-resistant construction and seismic safety.
Monitor structural stability of retaining walls, foundations, underground structures, and temporary support systems.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and geotechnical risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with applicable construction safety standards and project-specific safety requirements.
Coordinate with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, project managers, and safety teams.
Prepare technical reports, inspection records, risk assessment reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.
