The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work at the centre of a global indirect tax function supporting operations across EMEA and APAC. The successful candidate will take ownership of key indirect tax reporting and accounting processes, work closely with international finance teams, and contribute to automation, transformation and process improvement initiatives across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review VAT, GST and other indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
Coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors.
Manage VAT account reconciliations and indirect tax balance sheet reviews.
Perform VAT sweeps and indirect tax health checks.
Support month-end and quarter-end tax accounting processes.
Assist with tax audits and authority enquiries.
Analyse transactional data to identify risk areas and process improvements.
Partner with business stakeholders on indirect tax matters.
Support registrations, deregistrations and compliance projects.
Contribute to global tax governance and control frameworks.

Tax Technology & Transformation




Support technology-enabled indirect tax processes across EMEA and APAC.
Use data analytics to improve the quality and efficiency of tax reporting.
Assist with ERP and tax engine enhancements.
Identify automation opportunities and help reduce manual processes.
Contribute to dashboards, KPIs and management reporting.
Participate in strategic tax transformation initiatives.

Skills & Experience
8 -12 years of VAT/GST, indirect tax or tax accounting experience.
Skilled qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
Robust understanding of indirect tax reporting and accounting.
Experience working with multinational organisations or shared service settings preferred.
Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday or Dynamics.
Experience with automation, Power BI, Alteryx or data analytics tools is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
