2. Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-anaesthetic check-ups (PAC) and assess patients before surgery.
- Review patient medical history, previous surgeries, allergies, medications, and investigation reports.
- Evaluate patients' fitness for anaesthesia and assess surgical risks.
- Explain anaesthesia procedures, risks, and precautions to patients and obtain informed consent.
- Administer general, spinal, epidural, and local anaesthesia as clinically indicated.
- Monitor vital signs, including BP, pulse, ECG, oxygen saturation, and respiratory status during surgery.
- Ensure proper functioning of anaesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, and emergency equipment.
- Provide anaesthesia support for major and minor surgical procedures.
- Manage patients in the recovery room and monitor post-anaesthesia recovery.
- Provide pain management and post-operative care.
- Handle emergency situations,



including cardiac arrest, airway emergencies, and critical patient conditions.
- Participate in ICU management and emergency resuscitation when required.
- Maintain accurate anaesthesia records, PAC forms, consent forms, and patient documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and OT technicians.
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and NABH standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and departmental meetings.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
