Role Description The Supply Chain Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for PhotonicGrid’s fiber network projects. This role oversees procurement of materials and services, vendor selection and performance management, and logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of assets to construction sites. The Supply Chain Leader develops and maintains inventory control processes, optimizes warehouse and yard operations, and ensures accurate tracking of equipment, cable, and supporting infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, construction, finance, and operations teams to forecast demand, manage lead times, mitigate risks,



and align supply chain activities with project milestones and committed RFS dates. The role also drives process improvements, cost optimization, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and the adoption of data-driven tools to improve visibility and efficiency across the supply chain.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Supply Chain Management and Operations Management skills, including experience with end-to-end planning, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, optimize stock levels, and manage material flows for infrastructure or capital-intensive projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including proficiency in using data, metrics, and tools (e.g., ERP, supply chain planning systems, spreadsheets) to forecast demand, manage risks, and improve processes.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or a related field; experience in telecom, fiber, infrastructure, or utilities projects is highly beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of contract management, cost optimization, risk management, and familiarity with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in large-scale infrastructure deployments.
