Position: Assembly Technician
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Location: Athipalyam
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Assembly Lead

Job Purpose

To assemble, inspect, test, and pack products as per engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules while ensuring safety and productivity targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to assembly drawings and SOPs.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled products and report any defects.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic assembly issues and escalate major concerns.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and daily output data.
- Follow 5S, safety, and quality management procedures at all times.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished products.
- Coordinate with Stores, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.

- First Pass Yield (FPY)
- Defect/Rework Rate
- On-Time Completion of Production Plan
- Adherence to Safety Standards
- 5S Compliance
- Machine/Tool Utilization

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing operations.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
