- Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical skilled

- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
- Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
- Examining images to ensure they’re usable
- Updating patient medical information
- Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
- Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
