Job Summary

Perform daily backup operations and replication on local/DR site. • Work to provide storage solutions for productive and safe data backup. • Plan, deploy and administer the backup system hardware and software. • Configure backup clients/install agents/monitor the backup jobs. • Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments. • Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients. • Configuration of backup solution on requested servers. Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines. • Handling backup failures and resolve within defined SLA. • Backup Capacity monitoring and reporting. • Work on Disaster recovery planning/execution
