Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM and HPSM (HP Service Manager) to support an enterprise-level HPSM to ServiceNow migration and transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementation and customization, strong knowledge of HPSM data structures and service management processes, and expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow scripting, data migration, CMDB, and integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for leading migration activities, replicating existing HPSM processes in ServiceNow, performing data transformation and validation, and ensuring a smooth transition to the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

HPSM to ServiceNow Migration

- Lead the planning, design, and execution of HPSM to ServiceNow migration activities.
- Analyze existing HPSM configurations, workflows, data structures, and service management processes.
- Define migration strategies for both historical and active records.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and migration.
- Migrate records including Incidents, Changes, Problems, Requests, and related service management data.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

ServiceNow Development & Customization

- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions using:
- JavaScript
- Glide API
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- Flow Designer
- Workflows
- Replicate and optimize existing HPSM workflows and processes within ServiceNow.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and platform standards.

ITSM & CMDB





- Work extensively with ServiceNow ITSM modules, including:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Request Management
- CMDB
- Understand ITIL-based service management processes.
- Configure workflows and automation to improve service management processes.
- Support CMDB data migration, validation, and reconciliation.

Data Migration & Integration

- Use ServiceNow migration and integration tools such as:
- Import Sets
- Transform Maps
- IntegrationHub
- ETL processes
- Develop data transformation and mapping logic.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external enterprise applications.
- Work with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Support ServiceNow MID Server setup and integration activities.
- Troubleshoot integration and migration-related issues.

Testing & Validation

- Develop and execute migration validation and testing strategies.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
- Validate migrated data against source HPSM records.
- Perform reconciliation to ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve migration and configuration defects.
- Support UAT and production readiness activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, ServiceNow architects, developers, and technical teams.
- Gather and validate business and technical requirements.
- Participate in solution design and technical discussions.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation and migration-related artifacts.





Critical Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow and HPSM (HP Service Manager).
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM implementation and customization.
- Deep understanding of HPSM data structures and service management processes.
- Robust proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow data migration.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Import Sets
- Transform Maps
- IntegrationHub
- ETL
- Strong experience with CMDB.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Request Management
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow MID Server setup and configuration.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience leading HPSM to ServiceNow migration projects.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices.
- Experience with complex data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on ServiceNow Developer with strong HPSM migration experience, capable of understanding legacy HPSM processes and translating them into scalable, optimized ServiceNow solutions.

Candidates with proven experience in HPSM-to-ServiceNow migration, ITSM, CMDB, ServiceNow scripting, data migration, and enterprise integrations will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
