We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international and domestic travel bookings, hands-on experience with Amadeus GDS, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert customer enquiries into successful bookings.

Key Responsibilities1. Travel Consultation and Sales

- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Recommend suitable domestic and international travel options.
- Create customized travel itineraries based on customer needs.
- Handle travel enquiries through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through effective sales and customer service.
- Upsell relevant travel services, packages, accommodations, and additional travel products.

2. Flight Reservations and GDS Operations

- Search, compare, and book domestic and international flight tickets.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Amadeus GDS.
- Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds.
- Understand fare rules,



baggage allowances, airline policies, and ticketing procedures.
- Manage PNR creation, ticketing, and itinerary modifications.
- Assist customers with flight changes, disruptions, and other booking-related issues.

3. Holiday Packages and Travel Arrangements

- Prepare customized domestic and international holiday packages.
- Coordinate hotel reservations, transfers, sightseeing, tours, and other travel services.
- Research destinations, travel products, and competitive package options.
- Ensure travel itineraries are accurate, practical, and aligned with customer expectations.

4. Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain professional relationships with customers before, during, and after their trips.
- Provide timely assistance with booking queries and travel-related concerns.
- Handle complaints and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain regular communication.
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

5. Sales Targets and Reporting

- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Follow up on leads and maintain accurate enquiry and booking records.
- Track conversions, revenue,



and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and travel suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amadeus GDS is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
- Experience handling cancellations, refunds, reissuance, and itinerary changes.
- Knowledge of holiday packages, hotels, transfers, and customized travel planning.
- Robust sales, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and bookings simultaneously.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with travel booking platforms.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

Language Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable communicating professionally in:

- English
- Hindi
- Punjabi

Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for this position.
