Role Overview

Design, build, deploy, and support scalable Azure-based data pipelines and analytics solutions, integrating Power BI reporting with reliable data transformation and storage. Apply software engineering principles to develop automated, modular, reusable, resilient, and cost-effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.

- Build and maintain data solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Blob Storage.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries and transformations for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and related databases.

- Develop Power BI analytics/reporting solutions; work with Power Apps and Power Automate where required.

- Integrate data from APIs and diverse sources, with awareness of REST APIs and OAuth authentication.

- Ensure data accuracy, validation, quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.

- Monitor,



troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost.

- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to translate data needs into production solutions.

- Maintain source control, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment workflows for data solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 12-18 years of total qualified experience (per requisition requirement).

- Strong hands-on Power BI development and Azure data engineering experience.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure data processing services (Synapse, Databricks, or Fabric).

- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 / Blob Storage and SQL-based data transformation.

- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT pipeline design, production support, testing, and CI/CD practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

Good-to-Have Skills

Azure Databricks (ADB), Power Apps, Power Automate, REST API/OAuth, Python, Azure DevOps, Git workflows, Ansible, and cloud resource management.
