About the Role

Tech Essentia is looking for an experienced IT Consultant – Python who can take complete ownership of a product, understand business requirements, define technical solutions, and drive product development in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

We are not looking for a Python Developer who only focuses on coding. We need a consultant with strong technical expertise, a product-oriented mindset, decision-making abilities, and the confidence to take end-to-end ownership of product functionality, performance, and delivery.

Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, as the role involves regular interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of the product, including its functionality, performance, improvements, and delivery.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design and guide the implementation of Python-based applications, APIs, and integrations.
- Communicate with clients to understand expectations, clarify requirements, and provide technical guidance.
- Analyse existing systems, identify gaps, and recommend product and process improvements.
- Work closely with development teams to plan, prioritise, and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure product reliability, security, and scalability.
- Make informed technical decisions aligned with business goals.
- Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of agreed requirements.

Key Requirements





- 8–12+ years of relevant experience in IT consulting, software engineering, solution architecture, or product ownership with strong Python expertise.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of Python, REST APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
- Proven ability to take ownership of a product or complex technical solution from requirement analysis through delivery and ongoing improvement.
- Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimisation.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills — mandatory.
- Experience in client-facing discussions, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently, lead technical discussions, and take accountability for outcomes.

Education

- B.Tech/B.E./MCA or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Relevant professional experience and demonstrated technical expertise will also be considered.
