- Overall in-charge of nursing services and nursing staff.
- Implement hospital policies related to nursing services.
- Assist in nursing staff recruitment and resource planning.
- Conduct regular hospital rounds to ensure quality patient care.
- Prepare budgets for nursing services.
- Guide, counsel, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Investigate complaints related to nursing care and take corrective action.
- Attend hospital meetings and coordinate with clinical heads.
- Maintain good relations with patients and hospital staff.
- Promote nursing research and conduct training on universal precautions.
- Recommend staff promotions and higher education opportunities.
