Social Media Reels & Content Specialist – Project-Based

What You'll Do

- Create engaging faceless social-media reels based on client requirements and approved content direction
- Identify suitable trending reel formats, concepts and audio relevant to the client's industry
- Customize reel concepts according to the client's brand, target audience and instructions
- Edit short-form video content suitable for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
- Add appropriate music/audio while keeping content platform-safe
- Create or coordinate suitable reel cover images for Instagram grid presentation
- Develop basic content ideas for reels based on the client's products, services, launches or industry
- Write basic or relevant captions for posts and reels, depending on the package
- Provide basic hashtag suggestions or relevant keywords based on the client's industry
- Make basic revisions based on feedback
- Deliver final reels and related files within agreed timelines

Educational Qualification

- Diploma/Degree in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Film & Video Production, Multimedia, Advertising or a related field preferred




- Relevant certification or equivalent practical experience will also be considered

Skills & Requirements

- Experience creating short-form social-media reels
- Positive understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content
- Ability to identify and adapt trending content formats
- Basic understanding of social-media trends, audience engagement and content presentation
- Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent
- Ability to edit video with appropriate cuts, transitions, text, music and visual elements
- Good understanding of vertical video formats and social-media specifications
- Basic understanding of captions, hashtags and relevant keywords
- Ability to work from a client brief and follow brand guidelines
- Good creative and conceptual thinking
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Practical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates may be given a brief-based practical reel-editing task.
