About SMD Labs

SMD Labs is a Lucknow-based supplier of laboratory chemicals, analytical reagents, reference standards, chromatography consumables and scientific equipment. We serve research institutes, universities, pharmaceutical companies, testing laboratories and industrial customers.

We are looking for a motivated sales skilled who enjoys meeting customers, developing business relationships and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, industrial laboratories, universities and testing laboratories.
- Meet scientists, laboratory heads, purchase departments and quality-control teams.
- Identify new customers and generate genuine sales enquiries.
- Promote laboratory chemicals, analytical reagents, reference standards and scientific products.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers until order confirmation.
- Develop new accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Track enquiries, quotations, sales orders and payment follow-ups.
- Submit daily visit reports and maintain an updated sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly sales and customer-acquisition targets.

Eligibility

- 1–4 years of experience in B2B, institutional, pharmaceutical,



industrial or scientific-product sales preferred.
- Candidates from laboratory chemicals, pharma products, medical equipment or industrial supplies will be preferred.
- Good spoken Hindi and the ability to read and write professional English are essential.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email and WhatsApp Business.
- Willingness to travel locally and across assigned territories.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

- Fixed monthly salary based on experience.

Important

This is an active field-sales role, not a desk job, telecalling-only role or back-office position. Candidates must be comfortable meeting customers, travelling and following up on business opportunities.
