Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished hospitality leader to head the overall operations, business performance and growth of our hospitality portfolio. The COO will work closely with the Group leadership to translate business objectives into operational results, strengthen profitability, maintain exceptional guest experiences and lead expansion.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing star-rated hotels, resorts and restaurants, with a strong track record in senior leadership. Experience overseeing multiple properties, outlets or hospitality chains is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall strategy and operations of the hospitality portfolio, ensuring alignment with the Group’s business objectives.
- Take ownership of portfolio and property-level profitability, budgets, revenue targets, operating costs and financial performance.
- Oversee hotel, resort and restaurant operations, including rooms, food and beverage, banqueting, housekeeping, engineering and guest services, as applicable.
- Establish consistent service standards, operating procedures and performance benchmarks across properties and outlets.
- Drive revenue growth through pricing, occupancy improvement, food and beverage sales, events, partnerships and effective coordination with sales and marketing teams.
- Review business performance with property and functional heads, identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Lead expansion initiatives, including feasibility assessments, pre-opening planning, new outlet launches and operational integration.
- Build and mentor a robust leadership team, ensuring accountability, succession planning and effective manpower deployment.
- Strengthen procurement, inventory management, vendor performance and cost controls while maintaining product and service quality.




- Monitor guest feedback, service recovery and brand reputation to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee asset upkeep, renovations and capital expenditure proposals to support operational needs and business returns.
- Ensure adherence to applicable statutory requirements, licensing conditions, food safety standards and workplace safety practices.
- Present performance reports, business risks and strategic recommendations to the Group leadership.

Candidate Requirements

- 15–20 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, including substantial experience in senior management or business leadership.
- Proven experience managing star-rated hotels, resorts and restaurants.
- Experience leading multiple properties, outlets or hospitality chains is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated responsibility for profit and loss, business planning, budgeting and operational performance.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, food and beverage management, revenue management and hospitality service standards.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage property heads, general managers and functional leaders.
- Experience in business expansion, pre-opening operations, operational restructuring or turnaround assignments will be an advantage.
- Excellent commercial judgment, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across operational locations.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate qualification in Hospitality or Business Management will be an added advantage.

Portfolio revenue and profitability; operating margins; occupancy and average room revenue, where applicable; food and beverage performance; guest satisfaction; cost efficiency; leadership development; and timely execution of expansion plans.
