Key Responsibilities:

- Take overall responsibility for the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all residents of the boys' hostel.
- Take morning and night attendance, keep in-out and leave registers, and make sure hostel rules and timings are followed.
- Do night duty and stay available for emergencies according to the hostel duty roster [duty hours to confirm].
- Maintain discipline, settle disputes, and report any misconduct or safeguarding concern.
- Handle health issues and first-aid response, arrange medical help when needed, and inform the Centre Manager and the family.
- Oversee hostel housekeeping, hygiene, the mess or food arrangements (if any), and the room and asset inventory.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager, trainers and security staff, and keep the hostel records and reports up to date.

Requirements must have

- A caring,



responsible approach and the ability to manage and mentor a group of young residents.
- Good communication in Hindi, with basic reading and writing for registers and reports.
- Willingness to do night duty and to stay at or be available at the hostel as the role requires [to confirm].
- Willingness to undergo police / background verification [to confirm].
- Must be able to work at Belgaria, Dhanbad.
- Earlier experience as a hostel warden, caretaker, or in student or youth welfare (suggested: 1+ year).

Preffred Skills

- Graduate (suggested).
- First-aid certification or basic health and hygiene training.
- Experience in a residential skill training centre, school hostel or NGO residential programme.
- Basic computer or smartphone skills for reporting.

Location: JRDA Boys' Hostel, Belgaria, Dhanbad, Jharkhand (in office) Joining: Immediate Salary: 17,000 - 20,000 Accommodation / food / benefits.
