Job Summary

KAS Home Elevators is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts for residential home elevator installations. The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD, technical drafting, and dimensional measurements.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings, floor plans, and elevator layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create elevator shaft, pit, overhead, and machine layout drawings based on site measurements.
- Coordinate with the sales, engineering, and installation teams to understand project requirements.
- Review architectural drawings and identify the space and structural requirements for elevator installation.
- Revise drawings based on client requirements and technical feedback.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions, specifications, and technical details.
- Prepare and maintain project drawings and documentation.




- Coordinate with site engineers to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Follow company standards and project deadlines.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
- Knowledge of technical drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of measurements, dimensions, and scale.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting or technical design.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in elevator, lift, construction, architectural, or mechanical drafting.
- Knowledge of residential elevator layouts and installation drawings will be an advantage.
