Rainbow Group of Companies is a leading educational institution dedicated to quality education, with a strong focus on student success.

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction, renovation, interior fit-out and maintenance work across our schools and preschool branches in Thane. You will manage daily site activities, supervise contractors and labour, and make sure every project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise day-to-day civil, interior, electrical, plumbing and finishing work at project sites. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and timelines. Plan daily and weekly work schedules and allocate manpower accordingly. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on-site issues quickly.

2. Contractor & Labour Management
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects and consultants. Monitor contractor performance, attendance of labour and productivity on site. Verify contractor bills and measurements before submission for approval. Ensure discipline and smooth coordination among all teams on site.

3. Material & Inventory Control
Plan material requirements in advance and raise timely requisitions. Check quality and quantity of materials received at site. Maintain records of material inward, usage and stock to avoid wastage. Coordinate with the purchase team for timely delivery.

4. Quality & Safety
Ensure all work meets quality standards and is checked at each stage. Enforce safety norms and ensure workers use proper safety equipment. Keep the site clean and secure,



especially where work is near operational school premises and children. Report and address any quality defects or safety incidents immediately.

5. Maintenance Support
Handle repair and maintenance requirements across school and branch premises. Coordinate preventive maintenance of buildings, electrical, plumbing and other facilities. Respond promptly to urgent repair needs to minimise disruption to school operations.

6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily progress reports, site diaries and labour records. Track progress against project timelines and budgets and flag delays early. Share regular updates with management with photos and status reports.

Desired Profile

- 12th pass / Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma).
- 3–5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in construction, interiors or building maintenance.
- Experience in school, commercial or institutional projects is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of civil, interior finishing, electrical and plumbing work.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and take site measurements.
- Strong skills in managing contractors and labour.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Willingness to travel between sites/branches in Thane.
- Good communication skills in Hindi, Marathi and English.
