Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Line Man to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a garment stitching line and ensure smooth production as per quality and production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the smooth functioning of the garment stitching line.
- Allocate work to operators according to the production plan and worker skill sets.
- Ensure proper workflow and minimum bottlenecks between operations.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to resolve issues.
- Check stitching quality and ensure work is carried out as per required specifications.
- Monitor machine/operator efficiency and identify production delays.
- Ensure proper use and handling of sewing machines and materials.
- Maintain basic production records and report daily output.
- Train and guide operators when required.
- Ensure discipline, cleanliness, and safety on the stitching floor.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience managing a garment stitching/production line.
- Solid knowledge of garment stitching processes and sewing operations.
- Experience in sportswear/apparel manufacturing will be preferred.
- Good understanding of production planning, line balancing, and quality control.
- Ability to manage workers and achieve daily production targets.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
