Video Editor (Experienced – Long & Short-Form Content)

Ernest Media is looking for a creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, visually appealing, and high-quality video content.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience editing both long-form and short-form videos, with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual aesthetics, and digital content formats.

We are looking for someone who can independently manage the editing process, maintain creative quality, and deliver polished videos that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form videos, including YouTube videos, corporate films, interviews, promotional videos, and other client projects.
- Create engaging short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.
- Perform video trimming, sequencing, color correction, color grading, and audio synchronization.
- Add transitions, titles, subtitles, animations, motion graphics, and sound effects wherever required.
- Select suitable background music and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
- Adapt video content to different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
- Ensure consistency in video quality, branding, and visual presentation.
- Organize and manage project files, footage, and editing assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with the creative and digital marketing teams to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple editing projects and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience editing both long-form and short-form video content.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, video composition, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of color correction, color grading, audio mixing, and sound design.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and execute projects independently.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
