About Odyssey Photography

Odyssey Photography is a Coimbatore-based creative photography and filmmaking company specializing in wedding photography, cinematic wedding films, and visual storytelling. We believe in creating work that is authentic, aesthetic, and touching.

We are looking for a passionate Creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling stories, create emotionally engaging wedding films, and produce visually captivating social media content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit cinematic wedding films, highlight films, teaser films, and wedding trailers.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media content.
- Develop strong narratives through thoughtful sequencing, pacing, music selection, and sound design.
- Work with footage from weddings, couple shoots, pre-wedding sessions, and other creative projects.
- Maintain visual consistency, colour grading, and a high standard of finishing across projects.
- Collaborate with photographers, cinematographers, and the creative team to understand the vision behind each project.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Stay updated with emerging editing techniques, creative trends, and storytelling styles.

Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve,

or Final Cut Pro.
- A strong understanding of storytelling, rhythm, music, and emotional pacing.
- Good knowledge of colour correction, colour grading, sound design, and audio syncing.
- Ability to create both cinematic long-form films and engaging short-form social media videos.
- Strong attention to detail, visual aesthetics, and continuity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A willingness to learn, experiment, and contribute creative ideas.

What We’re Looking For

We value creative thinking as much as technical skills. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys experimenting with visuals, understands how music and moments work together, and can turn ordinary footage into something memorable.

You should be comfortable working in a collaborative creative setting, open to feedback, and motivated to improve your craft with every project.

Experience in wedding filmmaking, documentary filmmaking, music videos, or other storytelling-driven content will be an advantage.

How to Apply

Please apply with your resume and portfolio or showreel. We would love to see examples of your wedding films, cinematic edits, Instagram Reels, or other storytelling projects.

At Odyssey, we don't just edit footage. We shape stories, preserve emotions, and create films that people can return to for years to come.
