**Lead Associate – BPaaS Payroll Delivery**

**Department:** BPaaS HR & Payroll | US Payroll Operations

**Location:** Hyderabad, India

**Experience Required:** 5–7 years

**Shift Schedule:** Rotational day/night shifts, with weekend coverage as required by business needs.

### Position Overview

Support accurate and compliant US payroll processing through data validation, reconciliations, exception management, and coordination with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors. Manage complex issues, own SOP maintenance, support system testing, and contribute to service improvement and SLA delivery.

### Key Responsibilities

- Support regular payroll processing and validate pre-payroll inputs.

- Review post-payroll reports and outputs for accuracy.

- Oversee off-cycle payments and retroactive adjustments.

- Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including tax reconciliations, employee tax forms, amendments, and tax notice resolution.

- Maintain payroll records and support GL postings, reconciliations, and variance checks.

- Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries and maintain case documentation.

- Apply working knowledge of payroll compliance and identify and escalate compliance risks.

- Support audits, payroll transitions, parallel runs,



data validation, cutover tasks, system testing, and SOP updates.

- Identify root causes, recommend enhancements, and support process improvements.

### Key Skills and Competencies

- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, wage and hour requirements, garnishments, deductions, quarter-end reconciliations, and year-end tax reporting.

- Robust case management, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with controls, approval workflows, audits, and process improvements.

- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

### Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- **5–7 years of payroll experience.**

- Strong US payroll experience, including quarter-end, year-end, payroll tax compliance, reconciliations, and issue resolution, is preferred.

- Experience with payroll and HRIS platforms such as ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, UKG, or equivalent, and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or similar.

Pay: Up to ₹1,330,000.00 per year
