About the Role

Shadithya Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist with expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to join our multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills, hands-on experience in psychotherapy and the ability to work with children, adolescents and adults.

IMPORTANT: Valid RCI Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) registration under the Clinical Psychologist category is mandatory. Candidates without the required RCI registration will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Psychological Assessment & Diagnosis

- Conduct psychological assessments, clinical evaluations and psychometric testing.
- Administer and interpret standardised psychological assessment tools.
- Conduct cognitive, personality, behavioural and neurodevelopmental assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive psychological assessment reports.

2. Psychotherapy & Clinical Interventions

- Provide evidence-based CBT interventions for depression, anxiety, OCD and other psychological conditions.
- Apply behaviour therapy techniques and ABC analysis.
- Develop individualised treatment plans and case formulations.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide psychological interventions for children, adolescents and adults.

3. Specialised Clinical Responsibilities

- Conduct autism, ADHD and Specific Learning Disability (SLD) assessments.
- Work with patients experiencing addiction-related concerns and provide relapse prevention support.
- Conduct cognitive stimulation activities for patients with dementia.




- Support families and caregivers through appropriate psychological interventions.

4. Clinical Documentation & Team Coordination

- Prepare clinical assessment reports, treatment plans and progress notes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethical standards.

Eligibility Criteria – Mandatory

- Valid and active RCI Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) registration under the Clinical Psychologist category.
- Recognised professional qualification in Clinical Psychology, meeting applicable RCI requirements.
- Practical experience in psychological assessments and psychotherapy.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in CBT.
- Ability to administer and interpret relevant psychological assessment tools.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- M.Phil. Clinical Psychology RCI-recognised pathway, as applicable.
- Experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
- Experience in a hospital or mental healthcare setting.

Compensation

Salary/remuneration will be based on qualifications, clinical experience and full-time or part-time engagement.
