Key Responsibilities:

1. Tool Crib & Spare Management

- Maintain inventory of tools, spares, and materials, including minimum stock levels and critical spares.
- Maintain inward/outward records, ensure proper identification, storage, and FIFO practices.
- Monitor shortages, excess, and obsolete stock; escalate critical shortages to the HOD.
- Track tool repair expenses and share monthly reports before the 5th of every month.
- Maintain capital asset purchase/project records and coordinate with Accounts for monthly reporting.
- Ensure timely calibration of measuring instruments and maintain records.

2. Procurement Coordination

- Collect tool room requirements and coordinate with Purchase for PRs, POs and job orders.
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, delivery commitments, and pending materials.
- Prioritize urgent requirements and escalate critical delays to the HOD.
- Confirm the latest drawing and revision before procurement or manufacturing of new/modified components.

3. Material Receipt & WIP Tracking

- Verify received materials for part number, quantity and applicable drawing revision.
- Coordinate inspection, update stock records, and ensure proper storage.
- Track external job work, work-in-progress (WIP) and expected material receipt dates.
- Inform the Tool Room In-charge about the receipt of critical materials and pending requirements.

4. Tool Room Coordination





- Coordinate daily with the Tool Room In-charge regarding material availability, critical spares, procurement status, supplier delays, and urgent production requirements.
- Support timely fulfilment of Tool Room and CPE requirements through internal and external coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates to the HOD.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Prepare and submit monthly reports on tool repair costs and capital asset purchases within the specified timelines.
- Support inventory control, cost reduction, and continuous improvement activities.

Experience Required: 1-3 Years, should have basic knowledge about MS Excel, valuable in communication. Previous store experience will be an advantage, freshers may also apply.

Education: Any Graduate/ Post Graduate

Location: Virar (Company Bus Service is available from Virar Railway station to Factory)
