Terraform / AWS Infrastructure as Code Engineer

Design, provision, and maintain the AWS infrastructure for the Customer Authentication Service using Terraform. Own repeatable setting setup and deployment automation, working with the Solution Architect and tech leads on AWS Cognito configuration and production readiness.

The platform uses AWS Cognito as the authentication authority, data layer as the identity authority and retained RSA capabilities. This role delivers the AWS foundation and repeatable deployment path for React/Node.js and Spring services, cognito configurations, security profile setup. It uses prompt and context engineering for infrastructure work.

- Build and maintain version-controlled Terraform configurations for the approved AWS infrastructure and environments.

- Provision and manage the agreed DEV, QA, QC, IQ, STE, and PROD deployment paths as applicable.

- Configure AWS Cognito user pools and authentication settings according to approved architecture and security policies.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines,



configuration management, and controlled environment promotion.

- Review infrastructure changes for unintended impact.

- Support deployment, production onboarding, operational handoff.

- Hands-on Terraform and infrastructure-as-code delivery on AWS.

- Experience provisioning and managing multiple environments through version-controlled infrastructure.

- CI/CD and automated deployment practices.

- AWS networking, access controls, and secure configuration management.

- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment failures.

- Hands-on AWS Cognito configuration.

- Monitoring, logging, rollback, and production support experience.

- Experience supporting API-driven applications or authentication platforms.

- GitHub Copilot and prompt/context practices for drafting Terraform or pipeline changes, provided all generated changes are reviewed and validated.

10-12 years with 3-4 years of relevant experience
