JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Tool & Die, Press Tool, Mold Design, or related engineering design. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed designs, preparing engineering drawings, supporting manufacturing, and coordinating with internal teams and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Design and modify Press Tools, Dies, Molds, and related components as per project requirements.
- Understand customer drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Prepare layouts, tool assemblies, and detailed component drawings.
- Apply DFM principles to ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Identify design issues and implement necessary modifications.
- Support tool trials, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure designs meet required quality, dimensional, and functional specifications.
- Maintain proper design documentation and engineering records.
- Complete design activities within defined project timelines.





REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Tool Design, Press Tool Design, Mold Design, or Mechanical Design.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software such as CATIA, UG-NX, Cimatron, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Good understanding of 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of Tool & Die / Press Tool / Mold manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of DFM, tolerances, materials, and standard components.
- Positive technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- Experience in Tool Rooms, Die Manufacturing, Mold Manufacturing, Automotive, or Engineering industries.
- Experience working with manufacturing and production teams.
- Experience handling customer drawings and technical specifications.
