Job Summary

Seven Seas Hotel is looking for an experienced and technically proficient Shift Engineer to oversee day-to-day engineering operations during assigned shifts. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the smooth functioning of all hotel equipment, machinery, utilities, and infrastructure while ensuring guest comfort, operational efficiency, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor all engineering operations during the assigned shift.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and utility systems.
- Handle troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of hotel equipment and machinery.
- Monitor the operation of chillers, boilers, DG sets, lifts, pumps, STP, WTP, and other utility equipment.
- Ensure timely resolution of guest complaints and maintenance requests.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Maintain shift handover reports, maintenance logbooks, and breakdown records.
- Coordinate with housekeeping,



front office, F&B;, and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, electrical safety, and engineering SOPs.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy conservation practices.
- Handle emergencies and equipment breakdowns efficiently.

Eligibility & Skills

- 7–8 years of relevant experience in hotel engineering or facility maintenance.
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Previous experience in handling hotel engineering operations independently.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of hotel engineering standards and safety procedures.

Preferred Experience

Candidates from 4-star/5-star hotels, luxury hotels, resorts, large hospitality or Hospital establishments will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
