Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Head to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for the Biscuit Division. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in biscuit production, plant operations, operational excellence, quality management, and team leadership within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of the biscuit division, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet business requirements and customer demand.
- Monitor plant performance, productivity, capacity utilization, and manufacturing costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality procedures, GMP, HACCP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage, downtime, and production costs.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing, and Sales teams.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other resources.




- Implement preventive maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability and minimize breakdowns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant operations teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, yield, rejection rates, wastage, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure workplace safety, hygiene, and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline; MBA is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of biscuit manufacturing processes, production lines, packaging, and plant management.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in cost optimization, process improvement, quality management, and production planning.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates currently working in biscuit, bakery, or FMCG food manufacturing companies with experience managing end-to-end plant operations will be preferred.
