A multispecialty hospital in Lakhipur, Goalpara District, Assam, is inviting applications from experienced Gynecologists for an independent clinical role in its Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department.
This opportunity is suited for a confident specialist with strong hands-on experience in LSCS, good OPD management skills and the ability to independently manage routine obstetric and gynaecological cases, surgeries and departmental responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage Obstetrics & Gynaecology OPD, inpatient care and patient follow-ups.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
- Perform LSCS independently, with strong practical surgical experience.
- Manage gynaecological surgeries and procedures within clinical competence and available facilities.
- Be familiar with USG in OPD for relevant obstetric and gynaecological assessments, subject to applicable qualifications and regulatory requirements.
- Manage routine emergencies with appropriate clinical support, escalation and referral arrangements.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical functioning of the department and coordinate with the hospital team.
Candidate Requirements
- MS / DNB / MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice.
- Strong hands-on experience in LSCS.
- Ability to independently manage OPD, obstetric cases and surgeries.
- Familiarity with USG in OPD.
- Good clinical judgement, communication and patient counselling skills.
